PowerPump lets you start a session, log every set, and finish it without an internet connection.
What happens when you're offline
- The set you just saved stays on your phone.
- The rest timer runs normally — it doesn't need the internet.
- The session-in-progress is autosaved on the phone every few seconds, so an unexpected crash or a killed app won't lose the day.
- The Finish button works whether you're online or offline.
When the signal comes back
The next time your phone has internet — walking out of the gym, or when the app comes back to the foreground on Wi-Fi — the saved sessions upload in the background. You don't need to press anything.
Your trainer sees the session shortly after that.
What doesn't work offline
- New programs sent by your trainer don't arrive until you're online again.
- Chat, exercise library videos and other remote data need the internet.
- The barbell weight scanner needs the internet (and a paid plan).
How to tell it worked
Open your Tracker after you're back on Wi-Fi. If your session shows up in the history with the correct sets and weight, everything uploaded fine.
If a session seems missing
Don't repeat the workout to re-log it. Wait a minute on a good connection and check again — the upload queue drains in the background. If it's still missing after that, write to your trainer or to support; we can usually recover it.
