If your trainer has sent you a six-character code, that code connects you to them inside the PowerPump app. It's a one-time step; after that, their programs appear in your app.
What you need
- The PowerPump app installed on your phone (free on the App Store).
- A PowerPump account — you can create one during onboarding, no card needed.
- The six-character code from your trainer.
How to redeem the code
- Open PowerPump. If it's your first time, walk through the onboarding.
- Go to Join trainer (from the profile or from the workouts area).
- Type the code exactly as you received it — six characters, no dashes or spaces.
- You'll see your trainer's name and photo. Confirm.
That's it. Your trainer sees you in their client list, and the programs they send you appear in your Trainer workouts area.
About the code
The code uses only characters that don't get confused when written by hand — no zero, no letter O, no one, no capital I. If you're reading it from a screenshot, that's the safe alphabet the app expects.
Nothing to pay
Being coached by a trainer through PowerPump costs you nothing. Your trainer pays for the dashboard; you use the app for free. If you want the AI coach or the barbell weight scanner, those are separate — see the homepage for prices.
If the code doesn't work
- Double-check for typos — a lowercase L looks like a one.
- Ask your trainer whether the code is still active. Trainers can rotate their code; the old one stops working.
- If you already joined a trainer once, you're still connected — no need to redeem the code again.
