Every trainer-client pair has a private conversation in PTdash. It's the same thread the client sees inside the PowerPump app, so messages, form-check videos, and short notes can be sent from either side.
Sending a message
Open the client's chat, type, hit send. The client sees a notification on their phone.
Sending a video
Attach a video and hit send. PTdash uploads it in the background; you can keep chatting while it uploads. When the client opens the message, the video plays inside the app.
Videos are kept for 90 days
Every chat video stays available for 90 days from when it was sent, then it is automatically deleted. Both you and the client see the availability date on the message. Text messages are never deleted; only the video file is removed after 90 days.
Unread badges
The client list shows an unread badge when a client has messaged you and you haven't replied yet.
